Pantry Casserole

I had planned to make Shredded BBQ Chicken sandwiches last night but I was missing a few ingredients and money was tight. So, I had a package of chicken strips I needed to cook...I went to my pantry to see what I had on hand. I then put together this casserole! I call it Pantry Casserole.  The whole family loved it. Everyone had more then one helping. We had zero leftovers!

Pantry Casserole
Chicken strips cooked in 2 T of butter
(the boneless skinless ones)
1 Box of Chicken Rice A Roni
(cooked according to instructions)
1/4 C Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 C French Fried Onions

When you have your chicken cooked, and your rice a roni cooked, you will then combine the two together. Then Add your cream of chicken soup. Stir till combined.  Add your french fried onions. Put in a casserole dish. Top with french fried onions. Next take your biscuit dough strips and form a lattice on top of the casserole. Brush with butter and sprinkle salt.  Cook till the chicken mixture is bubbly and the biscuit dough is cooked and golden. Eat and enjoy!
