Homemade Croutons

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I had some leftover French bread, so today I decided to make my own croutons.... I usually buy the croutons at the store and I love them...either to eat on salad or by itself. Well, I'm so glad I made them because these are great :-) And it uses up the leftover french bread so it won't go bad. Win WIN :-)

1 Thing of French bread chopped..(Can be small or large depending on what you like.
1 C. Olive Oil
1/2 C. Grated  Parm
1/4 Cup of Italian Season(Basil, Oregano)
Good sprinkle of salt. I used Garlic Sea Salt

Whisk it together....Then in a bag pour your olive oil mixture. Pour in your chopped bread. Toss to coat. Put on a Cookie sheet in the oven at 350-400 for about 20 minutes. Set your timer to check on them and stir them around every 5 minutes. When they are done they will be a golden brown. Take them out and let them cool on a paper towel....It'll soak up any leftover grease. Store them in a airtight container :-) ENJoY

  1. Do you know how long they would be good for? Couple weeks or so?

    1. I would say a week or two....Store them in a zip lock baggy with all the air taken out.
