I love corn dogs, but they are really expensive at the store. So I decided to make my own :-)
Homemade Corn Dogs
Batter:
1 Cup of Flour
1 C of Corn meal
1 tsp Garlic Salt
1/2 TB Sugar
1 tsp of Honey
4 Tsp of Baking Powder
1 1/2 Cups of Milk
Combine all the dry ingredients. Then add honey, and milk. Whisk until completed.
Ingredients:
Hot Dogs
Popsicle sticks
Directions: Pour batter in a big cup that will fit the hot dog. Leave room at the top but not to much. Get a pan with oil and make sure its super hot. You do not want the hot dogs sitting in oil. When the oil is hot dip the hot dogs in the batter. Take tongs and hold the stick and put the hot dog in oil. Hold it there for a few minutes. It should float. Cook until golden Brown
Honey Mustard
1/2 Cup of Mustard
1 T of Honey or to taste
Whisk and then dip corn dogs in it.
