Pizza Casserole

Good Morning Everyone,
This last week my family came to visit including my Sister in Law Amy.  Amy and I get along like two peas in a pod (lets just leave out that she likes Pepsi instead of Coke, its okay I still love her). Anyhow, we started this thing were we both make the same recipe, then see whose is better. We started it when I was home for her wedding. We did Taco Casserole then. So this week we did one of her recipes. This would be Pizza Casserole. Man its sooo good...and kiddos WILL LOVE it.  I'm posting two versions:
**** This recipe came from my dear sister in law Amy. She discovered it in her mom Jolyn's Recipe box. She changed it some. I do not take credit for this recipe.

Pizza Casserole
2 Lbs Hamburger
2 Cans of Pizza Sauce
2 Cans of Tomato Sauce(small)
Box of Rotini noodles
Bag of Mozzarella
Bag of Pepperoni

Start your water for your noodles, and add them when your ready. Brown your hamburger and then drain it. Add in your pizza sauce, and tomato sauce. Cook till its heated up. Drain your noodles and add them to your meat mixture. Put some on the bottom of the casserole dish. Add cheese, and pepperoni, then top with more meat mixture. Cover with cheese and pepperoni. Bake at 350 till the cheese is melted.
Recipe the 2nd way:

You can add peppers, onions and olives with the cheese to make it a supreme version.

  1. This sounds very good. You could also make it a Canadian Pizza version by adding cooked crumbled bacon and mushrooms....ideas are endless with the main base. Thank You for sharing.....I get tired of lasagna...my grandkids would love this
