Chicken and Pasta with a cheesy Cream sauce

Chicken and Pasta w/ a cheesy cream sauce

Ingredients:

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts ( I used 2 , but for a family you might need 4-5)
Penne Pasta
1 bag of Frozen Broccoli or you can use fresh.. Just make sure you cook the broccoli first.
5 Cloves of minced garlic
1/4 Tsp Olive Oil
1/4 Cup of Shredded Parmesan
1/2 C Italian Blend shredded cheese

Take your chicken breasts and cut them into strips, and then thin them out. Sprinkle salt and some pepper on it. Then toss it in flour. In a pan put a small amount of oil that covers the bottom of the pan. Put it on low so that the oil heats up. Fry the strips and put them on a paper towel. Pat all the oil off of the chicken. DO NOT throw the pan away. Drain all the oil, so that it just leaves the chicken drippings.  While the chicken is hanging out on the paper towel, get a pan of water boiling for the Penne.  When the water is boiling add pasta. Cook till done. Mince 5 garlic cloves and mix it in with your cooked pasta. Add some of the shredded Parmesan, and Italian blend shredded cheese. Add just a swish of olive oil. Cook your broccoli now. Mix it in with your pasta.  Now to do your cream sauce:

Cheesy Cream Sauce

1 1/2 T Butter
3 T Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Tsp Pepper
1/4 T Garlic Powder
1 1/2 C. Chicken Broth
1. C Milk
1/2 C. Shredded Parmesean(NOT the shakey cheese)
1/2 C. Italian Blend Shredded Cheese

In the pan that you fried the chicken in, add your butter. Turn the stove on to melt the butter. Add your flour, and seasonings.  Use a whisk to mix it all up. Add your chicken broth and milk. Whisk very well. Heat till it starts to thicken up. Toss in your cheeses. Mix very well, and heat it up till melted. Make sure you get the chicken drippings. Once it has thickened up add your chicken and mix it up with the cheese cream sauce. Taste it and if you want more pepper add more .Set aside.

On your plate take the pasta/broccoli mix and put it on your plate. Top with the chicken and cream sauce. ENJOY
