Rosemary Garlic Twist Bread

Rosemary Garlic Twist Bread

2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
2 1/4 Warm Water
3 TBSP Sugar
1 Tablespoon Salt
2 Tbs Oil
6 C. Flour
2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Stalk of fresh Rosemary chopped

Directions:
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour, garlic powder and rosemary to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth five  minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/2 hours.
Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide dough into 3 sections. Make a rope out of each one. Then braid it like you would braid hair.. Lay on a cookie sheet. Let it rise for half hour to forty-five minutes. Then pour half a stick of melted butter on top. Bake at 350 for half hour or till its golden brown. After it gets out of the oven, let it sit for a bit. Then remove it and put it on a cookie sheet to cool down. Take half a stick of butter and rub it over the top. ENJOY

    3. Thanks for sharing on Foodie Friends Friday Linky Party! Your recipe sounds amazing. . .I just never seem to find the time to make bread from scratch anymore, but I just might have to find some time soon. The waiting for the dough to rise is the hardest part! :)
