Spanish Rice Redone


Spanish Rice
( got this recipe from Spanish Rice but I have changed it, so here is the new one)

1 1/2 C. White Rice(not the instant rice)
2 Cups of Chicken Broth
1 Cup of Water
1 -14oz Can of diced tomatoes w/ chilies
1/2 C diced Green peppers
1/2 C diced Red peppers
1 onion chopped
3 Tablespoons of Oil 
1 Tsp Garlic Salt
2 Tsp Cumin
1 Tablespoon of Chili Powder

In a pan put your 3 Tablespoons of oil in it, and heat it up. Add your rice, peppers and onions. Cook till the rice starts to turn brown and the peppers/onions are semi cooked. Add your water/chicken broth, can of the diced tomatoes, and your spices. Stir and then cover for half hour till rice is cooked and all the liquid has gone. Make sure you stir every once in awhile. This serves 6.
