Fried Pickles

Fried Pickles

I love love pickles, my family and I go through a lot of them. One thing I like to make is fried pickles. Here is our recipe(meaning J and I) ...They are so good, and easy.

Dill Pickle Chips
Oil (for frying, I use a deep fryer, but you can probably do these in a skillet)
1/2 C. Flour
Sprinkle of Cayenne pepper(not a lot but just enough for spice)
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2  Celery seed

Take the amount of pickle chips you want, lay them out on a plate and pat them dry. Get  your oil preheated.. Again I used a deep fryer. If you use a skillet make sure you have enough oil for them to sort of deep fry. While that's heating up, in a bowl mix your flour and seasonings. Put your pickle chips in the flour mixture, dusting off excess flour. Deep fry till golden brown. You can add salt if you want.
