Celebrating Canada Day with Canadian Maple Syrup

Hello, I contacted by CanadaTheStore.com to review maple syrup and Maple Tea in honor of Canada Day.  I created three recipes using their Maple Syrup!  I also made Maple Ice Tea :-)

*I was not paid to review Maple Syrup and Maple Tea. I was given the product to try out and review. All opinions are my own*

The Maple Syrup was really good, so good in fact that I made three recipes using it...And used the whole bottle.  I highly recommend it. I give it two thumbs up!

So lets start Canada Day off with breakfast! What screams breakfast more then Coffee cake, Maple Syrup AND bacon??? I created a Maple Bacon Coffee Cake...Yes you heard that right. Then I drizzled warm maple syrup over it as it baked. Can you say yummy???

1 1/2 C Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 egg beaten
1/4 C Canola Oil
3/4 C Sugar
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 C Milk
1/4 C Maple Syrup
2 Tsp Vanilla

Candied Maple Bacon
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Maple Syrup
In the oven use a cookie sheet on pan and spray it with PAM. Now take some maple syrup and coat both sides. Then rub brown sugar on it. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Take it out and let it cool.

Once its cooled then chop them up.

Mix it all together and put it in a pan...Next add brown sugar, oats and then drizzle top with butter. Top with bacon and bake it till its done. Serve with warm maple syrup!

Now lets move on to dinner time!!! As we continue to celebrate Canada day lets have some roasted potatoes and Maple BBQ Pork Chops :-)

Pork Chops
BBQ Sauce
Maple Syrup
Take a bowl and mix in 1/2 C maple Syrup into your favorite bbq sauce. Set aside. Now take a skillet and make sure its really hot. Salt and pepper eat side of your pork chops. Sear till golden on both sides. In a baking dish coat the bottom with your maple bbq sauce. Put in your pork chops and then brush bbq sauce on each one. Bake until done about an hour. Eat and enjoy!

Last but not least what is a celebration without ice cream? So today I have created for you a No Churn Maple Pecan Ice Cream :-)

1 small package of chopped pecans
1 small carton of Whipping Cream
1 can of Condensed Milk
1/4 C Maple Syrup
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 Tsp Sugar

In a mixer bowl whip your whipping cream till its stiff. Then slowly pour in condensed milk, maple syrup, vanilla and sugar. Fold them in. Then add your pecans. Pour it into a freezer safe container and freeze it for a full day. Eat and enjoy!!!
