Iced Blueberry Bars


Drizzled Blueberry Bars

1 cup white sugar
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 3 cups all-purpose flour
 1 1/2 cup butter
 1 egg
 1/4 teaspoon salt
 1/4. Tsp cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
 4 cups blueberries
 1/2 cup white sugar
 3 teaspoons cornstarch

 Icing:
1 Cup of Confectioners Sugar
1/2 Cup of milk.

In a bowl combine your sugar, baking powder, flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg 1 C. of the butter and egg. You need to use a pastry cutter or you can use a butter knife. It will be crumbly.You need to save 1/2 C. of butter for later. Set aside. In a bowl mix your  blueberries, cornstarch and sugar. Combine. In a 9x13 grease it. Then put half of the flour mixture in the dish and smoosh it down. Take  your 1/2 C. butter and melt it. Drizzle it on top saving some for the top.. Then pour all your blueberries on top. Then put the rest of the flour mixture on top of the blueberries patting it down. Drizzle rest of butter on top.. Bake 350 till golden brown. Cool completely before putting the icing on.

Icing:
Take your confectioners sugar and your milk and whisk it till smooth. Pour in an icing bag or a zip lock with a tiny hole cut. Drizzle on top of cooled blueberry bars. You can serve this with whip cream and or ice cream.
