I'm so excited to share with you a couple things this morning :-) As most of you know I'm apart of a contest that is giving away a 12 piece set of COOKWARE :-) Not to mention it's stainless steel. I will be doing a review for them in the next blog post. However, today I want to share with you a wonderful website.
*Please note that these are my opinions only*
Awhile back I was asked to be apart of a Cookware contest with TFAL and Cooking Planit. Part of the contest I was asked to review and use cooking plan it. Cooking planit is a wonderful website. I searched through it with a handy dandy search button. You literally type what meat you have and it brings up recipes. How handy is that?! It's a moms dream come true :-) This will go a long way toward helping with menu planning, and grocery lists. Speaking of grocery lists it literally makes one for you with the food you choose. Pretty cool I think!!
I searched through the recipes and came across Jalapeno Cheddar Burgers. I was nervous about it because while i like Jalapenos I don't always like them in food. Also my dearest isn't a fan of them usually. But I like to experiment. So I went for it. I brought up the recipe, made the grocery list, then got the ingredients. Last night I got out the TFAL skillet, and started on it.
Cooking Planit is designed to help you get your meal done in time. So it'll give you step by step to help create your meal. It's an awesome website. I would recommend that you all go check it out. You won't be sorry :-) Here is what i made :-)
These Jalapeno Cheddar Burgers were amazing, and simple to make. My dearest and I enjoyed them so much and wish I had made more. Check out the recipe here and make sure you register and start enjoying the site.
Now while there is a lot of positive about this website and it's going to be an awesome tool, I did find stuff I didn't like. I have issues with following recipes...I like to take off on my own spin. LOL While a lot of the recipes looked fancy and had a lot of non budget friendly food, I'm sure you could substitute. Which is what I did. I ended up having to use shredded cheese, and cheaper hamburger. Don't let this bring you down though. This is an amazing place, and you should go check it out. I will be doing a contest for my cookware on the 7th, and you will have to register with that website to be able to enter into the contest.
To check out others doing the contest please look below :-)
I am looking forward to make Fettuccini with Butternut Squash and Sage recipe from Cookin Planit. Thank you!
