Pizza Casserole

I have been following Food blogs for awhile now....and I decided why don't I start one? I am a stay at home mom and I cook every day. I try to make homemade foods...:-)  There is nothing better then a home cooked meal. I am amazed at how many people live on frozen dinners...I mean not for lunch or anything but for supper..and for their kids. That is not right.I was behind a mom and son...They had a tv dinner for every night of the week. That disturbed me. I mean I do buy some junk food but I always make a decent homemade supper.

I have been in need of a hobby...something that would increase my creativity. I love cooking, and writing...So I thought why don't I combine that. I make supper every day. I have found many wonderful food blogs, those of which I take tips from, and love to read.  I am hoping to make this food blog into a wonderful place where people can come, relax and get out of a food rut. I know I hate being in a food rut...I am there more often then I like. I also like being creative...so cooking food not only feeds my family, but inspires me :-)

I am building on this to make it a nice place to be. So please stay with me...:-) I hope to improve on it, and change it...:-)

Here is a recipe that was given to me by my SIL, who found it in her moms recipes.

Pizza Casserole
************
2 14 oz jars spaghetti sauce (I use 16 oz and it's just fine)
2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
2 lbs ground meat
1 med onion, chopped
2 c pasta
4 c your fave cheese
pepperonis to taste

Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add sauces. Cook noodles 3 mins. Grease a 9x13 pan and pour half the mixture in the pan. Sprinkle 1/2 the cheese, then cover with pepperonis. Layer the rest of the mixture, cheese, and another layer of pepperonis. Bake at 375 for 30 mins.
